Rhino Bridge: Why a Completed Transfer Can Still Look Missing
A confirmed source-chain transaction means the transfer was submitted; it does not prove that funds are ready to use on the destination. A bridge is the mechanism that transfers assets between blockchain networks, so there are always at least two records to check: the transaction on the chain you sent from and the delivery on the chain you selected.
Check the source transaction before changing anything
Open the explorer for the source network and confirm the transaction succeeded, the token and amount are correct, and the recipient is the bridge contract rather than an unintended wallet. Do not send a second transfer merely because the destination balance has not changed. A replacement can create two valid transfers and turn a timing problem into a recovery problem.
Use the same wallet on the destination network
The EVM wallet connects in its browser extension, while a non-EVM destination may require its native wallet extension or app. Connect the wallet that owns the destination address, switch to the destination network, then add or select the received token if its balance is not automatically visible. The address can be the same across compatible EVM networks, but that does not make the balance visible on every network.
Look for delivery, not only confirmation
Blockchains do not naturally communicate with one another; bridges provide the route for assets and messages between them. Different bridge designs use different settlement and liquidity processes, so a completed source transaction can be followed by routing, destination-chain confirmation, or a separate claim step.
When the route is pending, wait before retrying
Compare the amount received with the quoted amount and check the transfer status in the interface. If it remains pending after the displayed estimate, keep the source transaction hash, destination address, network pair, token, amount, and timestamp. I would also check that the destination has enough of its native gas token before assuming the transfer failed; this small detail often changes whether a final action can be completed.
Legacy balances are a different case
A balance held in the retired StarkEx system is not an ordinary cross-chain transfer. Rhino.fi states that its main app removed legacy portfolio, deposit, withdrawal, swap, and Layer 2 history functions, while remaining unclaimed StarkEx funds moved to an authorised third party in March 2026. Use the Rhino Bridge interface for current cross-chain transfers, but use the legacy redemption route or its support contact for a historical StarkEx balance.
